Probability that three random wireless nodes within radio range of 0.1 in a square unit can communicate?
Imagine three wireless nodes A, B, C (for example, people with wireless laptops) at random locations within a square (square unit). Each portable circular broad communication 0.1. What is the probability that all can share? Note that this requires both B and C in their radio range, or B of A and C in the range of radio, or C is both A and B in its radio range.
One of them is anywhere in the square. It has a circular communication range r = 0.1 This means you have the area = pi * r ^ 2 = 0.01pi where another laptop should connect to (any part of likely = 1) actually be there 0.01pi = / 1 = 0.01pi Remember the third?
