Camera Tripod Mounting Bracket
I need a shotgun microphone to use with my camcorder?
One criteria, handling noise: it’s going to be mounted on a bracket with the camera, and I need to be able to operate the tripod without it picking up my hand movements.

I already have a bracket. I have a mixing deck that I can connect to the jack on tha camcorder so any connection type. May budget is, £200-250 tops
Since you did not tell us which camcorder, we don’t even know if the camcorder has a mic jack.
Check the “bower camera bracket” at amazon.
You will also need a “shock mount”. I use a Sabra SMM-1. There are lots of others.
What is your budget? Sennheiser, Audio Technica, RODE and NRG Research run the price spectrum of shotgun mics…
