How can I tell how much flexibility a camera will have?
I’m preparing to buy a camera. I am kind of a “serious hobby-photographer” – in other words, it isn’t my livelihood but it is important to me to take good, professional-looking photographs.
I think I want a digital SLR camera. So far, I’m leaning toward the Canon EOS digital Rebel SLR. But I can’t tell how flexible it will be in adjusting aperature and shutter speed. Are there any cameras of this type that allow you the freedom to manipulate those? How can I tell when shopping online?
