In that price range, you will only find bad choices if you are shopping new.
Look for a decent older model Canon. At that price, you will probably find something in the 4mp to 5mp range. SD card slot might be a little more difficult. At some point, Canon switched over from Compact Flash cards to SD.
Check Craigslist or ebay.
