okay im basically left with only my camera becase my best friend left, anyways im getting a new canon gl2 and i know have to get accesories, imk eeping my current tripod but i know im going to need lavalier mics, a boom mike, a light, and an extra light but im wondering if im leaving anything off the list, im basically an indie filmaker and idk i need it to be at least somewhat portable seeing as im going to school next year. Im wondering what prices i should expect pay for each thing and what a resome good brands? also if anybody currently has acaon gl2 what they think of it

my GL2′s are great, they do every thing I need them to do, but with your accessories, your on the right track and it doesn’t really matter what brand the acessories are as long as they work, you should also consider a monopod- very handi, sometimes better than a tripod.
You can get a lot of this stuff for really cheap on ebay, and as you will soon learn you need an extra battery- dont be afraid to get the no-name ones, they’re very long lasting and way cheaper.
